OPENING A LOCKED SAFE

Dan Milligan, owner of Milligan Safe & Vault, is among a small handful of safe professionals in New England who can open a locked safe without breaking it or otherwise changing the integrity of the safe. MSV can rekey locks on safes. We also open safe deposit boxes, high-security safes, and bank vaults. We are often contacted to open locked safes of deceased relatives and loved ones, and of course, for people who have lost the key to their safes or have forgotten the combination.

SAFE SALES & TRAINING

Milligan Safe & Vault is an authorized distributor of AMSEC (American Security), GARDALL, and Stack-On safes and accessories. We have a variety of safes in stock as well as the ability to order brand-new safes directly from manufacturers. We resell pre-owned safes after refurbishing them to practically new condition.
If you purchase from us, we will train you on the use of your new safe as part of the purchase. We can also train you on how to use safes purchased from a third party for a fee.

PREVENTIVE SAFE & VAULT MAINTENANCE

Anything with gears should be checked on a regular basis. Your safe or vault falls into that category. Whether you open it every day or once a year, annual preventive maintenance should be performed to keep your safe or vault in top working condition.

We recommend servicing the hinges on a high-security safe in a high-volume store every five (5) years.

SAFE INSPECTIONS & SITE SURVEYS

We inspect safes and vaults and conduct site surveys for proper installation and adherence to manufacturer specifications and building codes.

CONVERT SAFE FROM MANUAL COMBINATION LOCK TO DIGITAL LOCK 

Manual combination locks can sometimes be difficult to open for a variety of reasons, from failing eyesight to unsteady hands due to fatigue or other ailments. Or maybe you just want the convenience of a digital lock. Whatever your reason, Milligan Safe & Vault can change and convert your manual lock to a digital lock.

CHANGE SAFE COMBINATIONS 

As with passwords, you should change your safe's combination on a periodic basis. It is a good idea to reset a safe combination after certain life events, such as marriage, divorce, or empty nest. For businesses, we recommend combination changes whenever there is turnover in personnel. We can change your safe's combination on an adhoc basis or as part of a preventive maintenance contract.

PROFESSIONAL SAFE INSTALLATION

We secure our safes with padding and straps for delivery. Our equipment can handle up to 9,000 lbs. Our uniformed crew will deliver your safe with the utmost care and professionalism.

We will anchor safes securely to concrete or wood floors as required by manufacturer specifications.

Extra-heavy safes will be installed with weight disbursement plates.

WHITE GLOVE SAFE MOVES & INSTALLATIONS

We offer white glove installation and moving services on safes we sell as well as safes you purchase from a third party. We will deliver your safe, ensuring the highest quality and care possible, without leaving a mark on your premises.
