Dan Milligan
Founder
Dan started his career in the safe business over 20 years ago when he began working for Mancini Safe Company . Bob Mancini mentored Dan and Dan grew tremendously in this industry. Not just learning the basics in safe moves, sales, and service, but going above and mastering the art of high security safe openings. There are only about a half-dozen tradesmen in the New England Area that can successfully do a high security opening with the finesse to not change the integrity of the safe.
In 2011, an opportunity came along for Dan to open a billiards style sports bar. Along with being a skilled safe tradesman, Dan is also a semi-pro pool player with a love for the game. Being a "go getter," Dan jumped at the opportunity. In May of 2011, he opened up Stix & Stones, in Abington, MA.
Later that year, Dan decided to leave Mancini and give 100% to Stix. Although he kept his hands in the safe business by keeping most of his high end clients…something was missing.
In late 2016, nearly five years after leaving Mancini, Dan realized he wanted to be back in the safe industry full time. And so…in September 2016, the dream of opening his own safe business was born.
A few short months later, in January 2017, Milligan Safe & Vault was up and running. With references from his high-end clientele and rebuilding relationships with past clients, Dan has kept very busy.
